Islamabad:
Islamabad :In what seems to be a joke gone wrong, Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik is now gunning for a Twitterati who used to tweet as his media adviser.
Reacting angrily to the youth, Malik used his twitter to clarify that the person was an impersonator. "Samad Khurram is not my media adviser and I have ordered an inquiry to trace him and charge him under impersonation," Mailk tweeted yesterday
A quick check of Khurram's tweets show the support he is getting from some of his over 1,500 followers.
But, following Malik's angry tweet, Khurram sought to clear the air. He tweeted: "So a lawyer friend has advised to change bio and explain the joke. First's done & here's a failed attempt at explaining the failed joke".
"FACT 1: Rehman Malik gives terrible public
statements. His media adviser is completely incompetent.
"FACT 2: I am completely incompetent.
"Hence: I am Rehman Malik's media adviser. (No I'm
not, please read the previous tweets for the context if
someone just RT-ed this)."
He also tweeted that he will cooperate with whatever inquiry is to come "but I do get a feeling that the law will see it as a joke too".
